Need to get a Creep creeping?
Creepy Eyes controls compatible custom hardware over Bluetooth Low Energy. This page covers the normal discovery, connection, and Team Creep Mode workflow and gives you a place to report problems.
Bluetooth discovery and connection
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the iPhone.
- Power on the compatible Creepy Eyes hardware and keep it reasonably close to the iPhone.
- Open Creepy Eyes and allow it to scan for nearby Creeps.
- Select the named unit you want to control and connect.
- If a unit does not appear or reconnect normally, restart the app and power-cycle the Creepy Eyes hardware, then scan again.
Single-Creep mode
The app starts in a simple single-device experience. After one compatible Creep connects, the main controls become available: Blink, Left Wink, Right Wink, Independent Creepy, and Stop / Eyes Open.
Team Creep Mode
Team Creep Mode is for users with more than one compatible Creepy Eyes hardware unit. After one unit is connected, choose Enable Team Creep Mode for that app session. The app can then scan for additional Creeps and expose ALL / individual targeting, Coordinated Creepy, and Performance controls.
When reporting a problem
Useful details make troubleshooting much faster. Please include:
- Creepy Eyes app version
- iOS version and iPhone model
- Name of the affected Creep, if applicable
- Whether you were using single-Creep or Team Creep Mode
- What you expected to happen and what actually happened
- Steps that reliably reproduce the problem, if known
